Frequently Asked Questions

What is THYROID: It's That Simple?
THYROID: It's That Simple is an easy-to-understand explanation of thyroid problems, especially what happens when your thyroid gland is not producing enough of the essential thyroid hormones all your systems run on. This program has 9 videos that walk you through a simplified explanation of thyroid physiology to help you understand the "why" behind thyroid replacement. We'll go over the specific thyroid hormones your body needs and why there's a difference between "normal" thyroid levels and "optimal" levels. We'll take a look at testing for thyroid function and how different providers may not all test the same way. Finally, we'll look at specific thyroid replacement options and some things to be aware of.
