What if you could experience clarity and confidence about your approach to menopause?
Let's face it! There's a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there about menopause and the best ways to approach it. It's no wonder women throw up their hands in exasperation.
Menopause is hard! And it gets even harder once you start looking into all the options, trying to find something . . . anything that can help you feel better.
Each Woman Experiences Menopause Differently
There's no "one-size-fits-all" answer to menopause because no two women have the same struggles. That's especially true when it comes to deciding whether hormones might be a good option.
I've talked with thousands of women in menopause over my 30 year career as a pharmacist. I've looked into their eyes and seen their concerns and they've told me about their anxieties. I've seen women's frustration and anger at not finding any solutions or even feeling heard. I've even seen tears of hopelessness and despair, wondering if they'll ever get back to the way life used to be.
Two Consistent Themes
Even though every woman is different, two themes have been consistent in my interactions with women in menopause.
It's Not Your Fault
I'm here to tell you that any confusion or fear you may have experienced is completely understandable. You're not making this stuff up! It makes perfect sense that you might have some confusion or even apprehension when it comes to menopause and dealing with something that's literally "life-changing."
I Have Something That Can Help You Make Your Decision
As a result of my conversations, I created Journey to Optimal Hormones to provide clear and simple information to help you decide if optimizing your hormones is right for you. I want to help you get a deeper understanding of hormones and to be able to make an informed decision.
Simply click one of the blue "Get Started" buttons on this page, enter your name, email, payment information, and choose a password. That's it! You get immediate access to all the video modules and the written material that can help you make your menopause decision.
This decision can literally affect the rest of your life. I'm here to help you feel confident that you're doing the right thing for your body, your health, and your future.
Are You Feeling As Good As Ever?
In your 20s or 30s, you probably felt pretty good.
Unfortunately, after age 45, life starts getting hard!
Many of the struggles you face can be traced to hormone levels, which "go wild" for 4 to 6 years, then drop off to near zero once women hit menopause.
Physical symptoms like . . .
Emotional symptoms that affect relationships and loved ones . . .
Menopause Weight Gain - It's About Hormones
Menopause almost always comes with some weight gain, especially in the waist. "Eating clean" and working out constantly don't seem to help on the quest to lose those extra pounds.
Menopause increases the chances for metabolic syndrome, a set of symptoms that starts with 5, 10, or even 20 pounds, mostly around the waist, then develops into something called "visceral fat." It's basically fat inside your abdomen, around your organs. Visceral fat can lead to insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, full-blown diabetes, and even heart disease.
Once you've been through Journey to Optimal Hormones, you'll get the relationship between hormones and your metabolism. You'll see how optimal levels of key hormones can help you make real progress with diet and exercise. You'll discover how optimal hormones can reverse metabolic syndrome, decrease visceral fat, and prevent the health problems that come with those excess pounds.
Hoping To Wait Out Menopause?
Maybe you aren't really sure what to do or who to talk with about menopause and all those horrible symptoms? So you end up doing nothing, hoping the symptoms will just go away.
Some women sail through menopause but not everyone's that lucky. You may have such severe menopause symptoms that you feel hopeless, desperate for solutions. You may have stuff happening in your body and mind that you don't even realize is caused by menopause. It can seem like you're completely out of options.
Menopause Is Not a Disease
It's a natural transition that happens to every woman who reaches age 51 or who has a complete hysterectomy. For many women, menopause can be the beginning of a long, difficult struggle that can last 7, 10, or even 14 years. That's a long time to wait it out!
Are You Doing Everything? (except hormones)
Maybe hormones are a little scary, so you try everything else . . .
Some of these may have some effectiveness for some women, especially for hot flashes.
If you've tried non-hormone treatments for menopause and they just haven't given you the relief you'd hoped for, you might want to look into making your own Journey to Optimal Hormones .
